For larger and complex buildings, a central battery system centralises power and monitoring, making maintenance simpler and more reliable. For smaller or distributed sites, self-contained luminaires may be the efficient choice. Can you design a system that another contractor will install?

Yes. Design-only engagements are common, and the deliverables — strategy, drawings, calculations, specification and bill of quantity — are prepared so any competent contractor can price and build from them. We can also review the installer's submittals and witness commissioning.

What is needed for Civil Defense approval in Jordan?

Broadly: a fire strategy appropriate to the building's occupancy and height, system drawings, supporting calculations, equipment data sheets and approvals, and commissioning records at completion. The exact requirements vary by building type and scale. SafeLine prepares the full submittal and handles the approval process.

When should we bring you in on a project?

As early as possible — ideally at concept design. Fire strategy affects escape routes, compartmentation, riser locations and plant space, all of which are expensive to change later. Coming in before the architectural layout is fixed saves considerably more than the consultancy costs.
