Special hazards and commercial kitchens

Fuel stores, generator rooms and flammable-liquid areas need foam or CO₂ rather than a standard agent. Commercial kitchens need wet-chemical systems designed around the appliance line and hood. SafeLine specifies and installs both, with the interlocks that shut down gas and power on discharge.

Gas (clean-agent) suppression is used where water would be destructive — data centres, electrical rooms, control rooms. Many buildings use both, zoned by risk. Are fire suppression systems safe for people?

Yes, when correctly engineered. Clean agents like Novec 1230 and FM-200 are discharged at concentrations safe for occupied spaces, with pre-discharge alarms, time delays and manual abort controls.
