The challenge
What made this project demanding
A financial-services environment has to control physical access to specific areas, evidence who went where, and satisfy both regulatory expectations and internal audit — without making the working environment feel like a checkpoint.

What we delivered
Access that proves itself
Controlling a door is straightforward; evidencing who opened it, when, and under what permission is the part that matters to an auditor. The system records every event against a named credential and retains it.
Zones, not one perimeter
Permissions were structured by area and role rather than a single building-wide credential, so access to sensitive areas is a deliberate grant instead of a side effect of having a badge.
Fire overrides security
The critical integration in any secured building: on a fire alarm, controlled doors on escape routes release. Locking people in is a far greater risk than letting them out. Detection and access control were commissioned together and the release verified as part of handover.
Surveillance for evidence, not just monitoring
Camera placement and retention were set so recorded footage is usable as evidence — adequate resolution at the points where identification actually matters.
Outcome
Access control with a complete audit trail, integrated with surveillance and fire detection so evacuation overrides security rather than fighting it.
